When you add a link to your text, there is a small white box at the left bottom where it says "open this link in a new window". Always tick that box so when someone clicks on the link, it will automatically open in a new tab or window, and this means that they won't have to leave your page and can return back!

Amazing Kitchen Makeover

Hello my lovely stardusted friends!
It's very cold today here in Greece and it is almost snowing outside! Yipee!
I've got a bad cold myself and I'm stuck in bed for the last days. But the good thing is
that I had plenty of time to wander through the internet and found some amazing stuff!
So, here we go! I saw this amazing kitchen makeover and the after pics are
so gorgeous... you can't even believe this is the same kitchen!

What I love most is the colors they've used. The combination of all white cabinets
with the pale grey on the walls and the accessories in soft blue, just make this place look so
clean and fresh and bright!

DIY: Metallic Three Panel Art

I saw this DIY project in Young and Crafty and thought I should share it with you guys!
It seems to be easy to make and the outcome is really rewarding!
But the coolest thing about it that the whole project costs only $60!
Well, I think I could easily use it in my living room, it would match perfectly!

This is the picture where this creative lady draw her inspiration.

What you'll need is only this:

1. Metallic paint (3 shades plus some black)
2. Three canvases
3. Plaster of some kind

Now, the steps:
a. Spread out the plaster in circular way (as you see it in the image above)
b. Allow the plaster to dry
c. Time to paint. Start with the lighter color from the very center of the painting.
d. As you work outwards start blending the colors until you use
the darker one at the end of it.
e. Make sure to paint in between the canvases and all the edges.

House Tour: A House in Paris

Not exactly my style in the interiors, but...
a. I love everything in the kitchen....the wooden dining table, the chairs, the glass lighting, the mantel!
b. That glorious stairways and the huge painting is breahtaking.
c. The patio that makes me wanna grab a blanket, a hot cup of coffee and get lost in a good book.
d. The fact that you have to walk yourself through this picturesque pavement full of pots with plants and flowers in order to find your way into the house.
e. And finally did you notice the exteriors? I mean it's situated right in the heart of a Parisian lovely square - in which I've been myself several years ago!

Hello everyone!
How are you this lovely morning?
Some time ago in a previous post where we discussed about my Living Room, I'd promised that I would show you the rest of my house as well. So today I'm sharing pictures of my small but bright kitchen!
When we bought the house from the contractor two years ago it was all brand new,
but the cupboards and the tiles were already installed.
So, we haven't made any changes for the time being. I think they're OK though.
My dream kitchen however in my mind, is a glossy black and white... some day!

Simple Easy Wall Update

I was at a birthday party the other day that our good family friend Maria and her husband threw for their little boys. When I had first visited their house, their kids room had a simple, beige, boring wall color. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of this before wall (and why should I shoot a simple, beige, boring wall!) but 'm sure you can picture this in your mind!. So now when I entered the same room a surprise was waiting for me. The hubby had painted the walls in such a way to create a highway scene, used colours to create the ground effect and then placed some McQueen stickers on. So simple! So easy! So much impact! The boys were really excited with the outcome! And I was amazed by the result!

Feat. Joy-n-Jesus

Today, I'm featuring a very sweet girl with a very beautiful name... Jewels!

She is the author of the blog Joy-n-Jesus and is a very creative and crafty young woman!

Well, take a look here-below at what she's made for Christmas and then hop on over to her blog and leave a sweet comment. I know this would make her day!

Happy Friday! Don't you love Fridays? Oh, I do! They mean more time with family and it always gives me the motivation to do something fun! Here is what I did!

So After seeing my sweet and creative friend Tanya's Advent Calendar it inspired me to create this. I just love banners, and this was fun and easy! I started by digging through a past scrapbooking kit from Personal Scrapper, grabbed some papers and was off. I loved the polka dot one so I found papers that had the same color scheme and laid them across my kitchen table. Then I measured my fire place mantel from one end to the other, which was about 63, and divided that by 25. With my measurements I knew that I could make each piece 2 to 2.5 inches and that is what I did and cut the triangle at the bottom for effect. Just like my girl "T."

With all 25 spread across my table I cut the twine the length of the fire place mantel and placed a thin line of glue on #1 first and then slowly made my way down the twine: glue, twine, glue, twine...

On the back we placed the activities we will do each day. Or if you don't want to plan ahead too much you can do a couple at a time. I adhered the 3x5 card with a small piece of scotch tape so we could remove on each day. If you want some great ideas for activities you can check out Little Joyful Moments or Tanya's post.

Christmas Cards are one of the precious joys in the Christmas season! Especially the ones with pictures! Love the simplicity of a card, love that it is not overspending, yet it blesses others and

expresses the true meaning of Christmas!

If you are interested I picked up the stockings at in the dollar bin at Target (that's my spot lately) :) and also picked up the bling, mini, red ornaments which I love! Hope you enjoy!

Here is a little Christmas craft that I created over the Thanksgiving break! I decided to dress up our dining room chairs, these red velvet ribbon and pine cone decor really gives it a little pizazz!

DIY: Santa's Footprints & Christmas Crafts

First of all I wouId like to thank all of you my lovely readers for your support and for making my little blog growing steadily! Yesterday I reached 100 followers and I feel so grateful for this! A big thanks to all of you!

Now... onto Christmas season! Here is a little trick on how to create Santa's footprints, which is especially effective for the little ones! You just take some soda, or flour, or you can buy plastic snow and you sprinkle around the perimeter of a boot. Now, think of the children's faces when they get up in the morning and see the footprints next to the presents! I think this is an awesome idea and... well it is effective for me too! After all, aren't we all kinds during the Christmas season? This tip was found and created by my beloved Funky Junk Interiors.

My Living Room

A last minute's sort of Advent Calendar

Hello my stardusted readers!

Today it was a crazy day for me. I was super busy as it was my birthday and I had to prepare the house for some good friends and family that were coming over.Meanwhile I head over to IKEA for some stuff that I wanted and there I saw some cute Christmas little paper bags. I liked them so much that I had to buy them without knowing what I would do with them. When all the visitors left from our mini party (great cake by the way!) I came up with an idea! Since tomorrow - well...actually today - is the 1st of December I would make a kind of an advent calendar! So, I put a number on each one of them, filled them with kid's stuff and... wanna see my creation?

I found this living room in Jessie's blog Mix and Chic and I instantly fell in love with it! As Jessie specifically says "The beautiful vaulted ceilings, the charming stone fireplace and the wall of closets in the living room are some of the great features that stole my heart when I first saw this home."

I have a thing with nail heads lately! Whenever I see a nailed piece I'm stuck! Nail heads can outline the interesting shape of a piece of furniture. It's amazing what they can do for furniture, or even walls!

Hello my lovely readers! How was your weekend?
My family and I had a full weekend including walks, visiting many friends - old and new - and a lot of entertaining for the kiddos.
So, for today I would like to share with you some photos that have one thing in common... colour grey! God how I love this colour! I like to paint with it, decorate with it and even dress with it! Add some crispy white and if you want just a few (only few) hints oft colour, such as pink or yellow or orange or red, and you have a perfect combo.

DIY: Stone Sconces

This is a super easy project that anyone can do on the super cheap. I found it at styleitchic and it is so innovative and practical as well. Probably my next little project...

You begin with 2 pieces of thick wood (at your preferred size)

You glue the small bottom piece onto the back. This is to just hold it in place while you secure the “L” brackets on. Then you glue the stones on one piece

And there you have it! Easy-peasy!

And with a great impact! Wow! I really like them a lot!

Perfect Vignettes

It is not an easy thing to create a nice vignette. There are some certain rules and always the personaly style that must be taken into consideration. As per Maria Killam "A tablescape or vignette should include a minimum of 3 items; flowers, candles, and books, and depending on where it is, a tray. The idea is to create a kind of triangle inside the vignette". Below you can see some tablescapes where everything is so perfectly arranged!

Goodmorning everyone!
My sister in law asked me yesterday for some bedroom inspiration photos, as she is looking for an update in her master bedroom. Well, here they are! Pastel and neutral colour pallet as she specifically asked. Not my type of bedroom, but I must admit that they all look nice, clean, serene and tranquil. Bathroom Storage Ideas

Ηello, hello! Friday today... are you haaaaaappy?????
Soooooo, the menu for today inludes.... bathrooms! Let's take a look at some bathroom storage ideas and more! Most likely some of the following might solve you a storage problem.

This could be done in a much more decorative way...hidden behind a piece of art or a mirror or architectural panel.

I think this could work for a good place to hide your scale too!

This one is my favourite, since I detest the idea of a child stool under the sink (as I do for my kiddo)!

My Hall Update (Horizontal Stripes)

Goodmorning everyone! I am very happy that the "hall project" which we discussed here is finally over. It took me several hours of hard work and effort (and almost tears), but I finally did it! It was all worth it! And the winner of the inspiration photos is..... STRIPES!!! Big Horizontal Stripes! Yes baby, I looooove it! Well see it for yourself how from this....

Much better ha? Brighter + interesting + fun!

I prepared a tutorial for your guys on how to achieve this look.

a. First I had to remove the wallpaper of the wall, which wasn't an easy thing at all. I had to wet all the surfase with hot water and then peel it off little by little, so that no part of the wall would come off. Then remove very carefully the mirrors...

this is what was left when I was done with the wallpaper...

b. Then I prepped the walls. I washed them with water and a mild soap in order to remove any glue might be left. I then painted them (just one quick coat) with the same existing colour. Then I marked the spots where the tape should be placed with the help of a ruler and a pencil. At this point you should know how wide your stripes want them to be. I made mine at 18cm. each and it gave me at total seven stripes. This is where you ought to be extremely careful so that your stripes will be absolutely straight and of equal height. I also marked with an "X" the areas to be painted, in order to avoid any mistakes on the way...

And there you have it!

maybe adding a mirror... aaaah much better now!

(I should do something with this wing chair though. I don't like it the way it is now.

Maybe put a leather on it... maybe next project?)

Not an easy project I'm telling you, but I really really enjoy it now!
